I have a usb-midi cable which works with Windows, but it doesn’t seem to work with Ubuntu. That will give you more flexibility, also for recording audio. I am finally starting to see results. So after I’m done the recording is completly broken. I tried the commands given by sedawk but I got a different error message. Never thought it can be such a big problem to transfer data properly from logilik keyboard to a computer So for example if I play h and c at once for 2 seconds MC6T recognizes that I stopped playing h but c gets played on and on and on.

This may be a problem with alsa not seeing the device and so the driver is not getting loaded. Hope this will work better. Try doing it in say SI Logilihk Piano and see if the note prolongs. Not too surprisingly, Jack doesn’t see any usb devices for midi input.
Thanks to all of you especially ShellstaX, I decided to give it another try and bought a hopefully better cable. If you don’t see it, then you have to figure out why the operating system isn’t picking it up. Nice to hear that it finally works for logikink Start a New Discussion.

I anxiously await au0037 hear from you. But if i take a look in the midi output in the piano roll view I can see that some notes are played for much to long too. Can I only play one key at the time while recording or is their any logolink for that problem.
Again, my question is: Background as I understand If the other cabel I ordered is also not working I maybe buy it also.
Now I’ve got to figure out how to get Ardour to use the midi input.
